Una Murphy Abstract Artist Exhibition

Drop in to Bunclody Library to see a solo exhibition by local artist, Una Murphy. Una has used art throughout her life and in her workplace as a Psychiatric Nurse. Her paintings will be on display in the library for the month of September.

Saturday, 7th, 14th, and 21st  from 3-5pm Family Games Clubs

Drop in any time between 3pm and 5pm to play a selection of board games, including such classics as Monopoly, Scrabble, Battleship, Jenga and more! Suitable for Ages 7+  Colouring and Lego available for younger children. 

Saturday, September 28th – 2.30-4pm Autism & Sensory Film Screening For Kids

On September 28th Bunclody library will host the first of our Autism and sensory friendly movie screenings. These autism friendly adjustments are designed to make viewing a movie in the library more inclusive and accessible for children with sensory sensitivities, and others who can benefit from this environment. These adjustments will help children and guests feel more comfortable and support them to maintain high.

Saturday September 21st from 10.30-11:30am Autism Friendly Sensory Stories with Valerie Sheehan

Valerie Sheehan author of Tony The Turtle, is a professionally trained ASD tutor with 12 years experience working with families and kids on the autistic spectrum. She is passionate about providing tools and educational resources for parents, carers and teachers.

Parents/Guardians must remain with children at all times.

Culture Night 2019 – Friday September 20th

Bunclody Kilmyshall Drama Group Season Launch in Bunclody Library on Culture Night 2019. The Group will launch their Winter/Spring Season by performing readings from three plays currently in rehearsal: The Glass Asylum, The Memory of Water and The Good Father.  Join the group as they celebrate Culture Night by giving a taster of productions to be enjoyed by local audiences over the coming months.
